Celanese Check Presentation

Great day at Live 2 Learn Green

The threat of rain and bad weather didn't hamper spirits at the EXPO.today.  After a short drive to start the day, the team set up along with Gilmer and Byron Nelson.  We had a lot of fun, talked to a lot of people, and talked up the 2012 Solar Car Challenge.  We hope you had a chance to make it.  If not, check back for the photos to ne uploaded later. We still have a just weekend. 3 of our seniors came with us in the morning and then headed to Prom later in the day.  Check back later. Share this post with others as well.

Back from the Weekend

The team met up afterschool today to give the Aurora car a test run! This showed he dedication of the team even more as we just got off of a four day weekend, so a big thanks to all of you guys! The drive went great, our sophomores learned how we prep the car and control traffic, as many of them will be doing so this Saturday at the Plano 'Race'- their Learn to Live Green Expo! We would greatly appreciate it if you would come by and see us- the 'race'- more of a drive- will begin at the Classic BMW Dealership (6800 Dallas Parkway in Plano) at 9am, and drive until we arrive at the Shops at Legacy at 9:30!

Testing before the Plano Exp

We were able to get the car on the road (OK technically the parking lot), for a while today.  Trevor did a great job testing out the new brake job.  The new brake mounts look great and everything is working well with the drive train.  Looking good for Saturday's drive/show at the Plano Learn 2 Live Green Expo.
